В статье отмечается, что институциональная экономическая теория творчески использует достижения многих отраслей научного поиска: классической экономической теории; марксистского подхода; маржинализма; юриспруденции; этики; психологии и психофизиологии; социологии; истории и т. д. Это обогащает используемый инструментарий, но приводит к появлению специфического эклектизма. В этой связи в работе предпринята попытка переосмысления эволюции институциональных подходов, их базовых положений в современных условиях. Анализируя принцип методологического индивидуализма, автор раскрывает его влияние на всех основных субъектов рыночной экономики; формализует субъективную значимость и восприятие соотношений между ожиданиями и реальностью; дает развернутую характеристику ограниченной рациональности хозяйствующих субъектов, уточняет различия между формальными и неформальными институтами, их сочетаниями и взаимодействиями: альтернативой, симбиозом, разделением и коррекцией. В исследовании аргументирован тезис о том, что институциональные различия не могут выступать в качестве всеобщего объяснительного принципа; выдвинута гипотеза об отсутствии универсальных рецептов институциональной трансформации; заданы рамки институциональных изменений, включающие управленческие и правовые решения, задающие контуры формальных институтов, матрицу формальных и неформальных норм и правил и эволюционных изменений неформальных институтов, происходящих как внутри их, так и вне. Автор полагает, что специфическое взаимодействие вышеперечисленных компонентов можно уподобить протеканию физико-химических реакций, в результате которого они могут: остаться без изменений; измениться с сохранением своих исходных характеристик; механически соединиться/смешаться с иными компонентами; образовать «сплав», характеризующийся новыми характеристиками, которых не было у отдельных элементов в начале «реакции»; прекратить существование и функционирование. На основании вышеизложенного в статье утверждается, что базовые положения институциональной экономики предрасположены к постоянному уточнению и корректировке.

The article notes that institutional economics theory uses the achievements of many branches of science: political economy; Marxism; Marginalism; jurisprudence; ethics; psychology and psychophysiology; sociology; history, etc. This enriches its toolkit, but leads to eclecticism. In this regard, the paper rethinks the evolution of institutional economics and its underlying assumptions. The author reveals the influence of the principle of methodological individualism on the main actors of market economy; formalizes the perception of relations between expectations and reality; gives a description of limited rationality of economic agents and specifies the differences between formal and informal institutions, their combinations and interactions. The thesis that institutional differences cannot be a universal explanatory principle is argued; the hypothesis that there are no universal recipes for institutional transformation is put forward; the framework of institutional changes, including managerial and legal decisions setting the contours of formal institutions, the matrix of formal and informal rules and regulations and evolutionary changes in informal institutions taking place both inside and outside, is specified. The author believes that the interaction of the above components can be likened to the course of physical and chemical reactions, as a result of which they can: remain unchanged; change while retaining their original characteristics; mix mechanically with other components; form an alloy characterised by new characteristics that did not exist at the beginning of the reaction; cease to exist. Based on the above, the paper argues that the basic assumptions of institutional economics need constant adjustment.
