В рамках данного исследования автор описывает изучение Северного морского пути как критически важной транспортной артерии, значительно влияющей на пространственное развитие территорий России. В статье подробно анализируются экономические, социальные и стратегические аспекты использования морского пути, раскрывая его влияние на ускорение освоения Северных территорий страны. Арктическая зона России обладает огромным нераскрытым потенциалом, обусловленным её уникальным географическим положением, которое открывает перед страной перспективы для развития транспортно-логистических возможностей. Автор акцентирует внимание на том, что это в свою очередь может значительно повысить конкурентоспособность национальной экономики, особенно в сфере услуг, что сделает экономику более ориентированной на сервис. Статья анализирует влияние СМП на развитие транспортной инфраструктуры, освоение природных ресурсов, увеличение населения и создание новых рабочих мест в арктических регионах. Особое внимание уделено возможностям, которые открываются для развития международного сотрудничества и увеличения грузопотока посредством арктического маршрута. В работе рассматриваются также геополитические аспекты СМП, его значение для международных отношений и укрепления позиции России в Арктике. Рассмотрены проблемы экологической безопасности и устойчивости эксплуатации Северного морского пути в условиях меняющегося климата. Within the framework of this study, the author describes the study of the Northern Sea Route as a critically important transport artery that significantly affects the spatial development of the territories of Russia. The article analyzes in detail the economic, social and strategic aspects of the use of the sea route, revealing its impact on accelerating the development of the Northern territories of the country. The Arctic zone of Russia has a huge untapped potential due to its unique geographical location, which opens up prospects for the country to develop transport and logistics capabilities. The author focuses on the fact that this, in turn, can significantly increase the competitiveness of the national economy, especially in the service sector, which will make the economy more service-oriented. The article analyzes the impact of the NSR on the development of transport infrastructure, the development of natural resources, population growth and the creation of new jobs in the Arctic regions. Special attention is paid to the opportunities that open up for the development of international cooperation and increasing cargo traffic through the Arctic route. The paper also examines the geopolitical aspects of the NSR, its importance for international relations and strengthening Russia's position in the Arctic. The problems of environmental safety and sustainability of the operation of the Northern Sea Route in a changing climate are considered. The research is based on up-to-date data on navigation conditions, logistical and infrastructural aspects, which makes the work significant for formulating strategies for the development of the region.
