Цифровизация и глобализация изменяют традиционные подходы к управлению и образованию, что требует пересмотра роли финансового директора и образовательных стратегий. Так поколение Z ожидает от образовательных программ более практико-ориентированного подхода, способного обеспечить конкурентоспособность на рынке труда, а финансовые директора сталкиваются с необходимостью интеграции цифровых технологий, что требует новых компетенций и стратегического мышления. Статья отражает результаты эмпирического исследования студентов, обучающихся по направлению менеджмент в Финансовом университете при Правительстве Российской Федерации. Проведен анализ факторов, оказывающих влияние на трансформацию представлений поколения Z о роли финансового директора в российских компаниях после изучения дисциплины финансовый менеджмент. В статье делается акцент на влиянии изученной дисциплины на изменение понимания роли финансовых специалистов, определение факторов изменения профессиональных установок студентов. Был проведен корреляционный и регрессионный анализ, который позволил сделать обоснованные выводы о влиянии образовательного процесса на формирование профессиональных установок студентов. В статье представлено подробное описание методологии исследования и представлен анализ полученных результатов. Исследование выявило устойчивые корреляции между внедрением практико-ориентированных образовательных моделей и восприятие роли финансовых специалистов. Получены результаты глубоких изменений роли CFO в современных условиях ведения бизнеса. Сформулированы рекомендации для преподавателей высшей школы по совершенствованию образовательных программ, отражающих требования поколения Z. Даны некоторые рекомендации высшему менеджменту компаний для трансформации управленческих ролей финансовых специалистов. Полученные результаты исследования прошли апробацию на международной научно-методической конференцию «Форсайт образования: портрет студента будущего» 31 января 2025 года в ФГОБУ ВО «Финансовый университет при Правительстве Российской Федерации».

Digitalization and globalization are changing traditional approaches to management and education, which requires a review of the role of the CFO and educational strategies. For example, Generation Z expects a more practice-oriented approach from educational programs that can ensure competitiveness in the labor market, while finance directors face the need to integrate digital technologies, which requires new competencies and strategic thinking. The article reflects the results of an empirical study of students studying management at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation. The analysis of the factors influencing the transformation of generation Z's ideas about the role of CFO in Russian companies after studying the discipline of financial management is carried out. The article focuses on the influence of the studied discipline on changing the understanding of the role of financial specialists, determining the factors of changing students' professional attitudes. Correlation and regression analysis was carried out, which allowed us to draw reasonable conclusions about the influence of the educational process on the formation of students' professional attitudes. The article provides a detailed description of the research methodology and an analysis of the results obtained. The study revealed stable correlations between the introduction of practice-oriented educational models and the perception of the role of financial professionals. The results of profound changes in the role of CFOs in modern business conditions have been obtained. Recommendations have been formulated for higher school teachers to improve educational programs that reflect the requirements of generation Z. Some recommendations are given to the top management of companies for the transformation of the managerial roles of financial specialists. The obtained research results were tested at the international scientific and methodological conference «Foresight of Education: Portrait of a student of the Future» on January 31, 2025 at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.
