Устойчивое развитие, социальная ответственность и ESG становятся более востребованными, как в бизнес — сообществе, так на государственном уровне. ESG-факторы (Environmental, Social, Governance) могут играть значимую роль в оценке эффективности работы глав регионов. Для обеспечения системной работы в направление разработки региональных стратегий возможно использовать накопленный опыт экспертов в области ESG. А ESG-факторы необходимо имплементировать в комплексный подход к анализу деятельности глав регионов. Таким образом регионы России определив для себя приоритетные цели в области устойчивого развития — выстраивают свои стратегии с учетом экологических, социальных и управленческих факторов, и разрабатывают соответствующие инициативы. Все это направленно на улучшение качество жизни и инвестиционной привлекательности региона. Такой подход к развитию регионов, основанный на комплексной оценке факторов устойчивого развития, позволяет сформировать ESG-профиль региона, выявить сильные стороны и зоны для улучшения. Применение ESG-критериев в оценке деятельности глав регионов способствует повышению прозрачности и открытости власти, что, в свою очередь, укрепляет доверие общества и стимулирует активное участие граждан в управлении регионами. Это создает условия для более эффективного и сбалансированного развития, учитывая интересы всех заинтересованных сторон и обеспечивая устойчивое развитие регионов в соответствии с национальными и глобальными целями устойчивости. Исследование подчеркивает необходимость интеграции ESG-подходов в систему оценки деятельности глав регионов как инструмент для достижения более высоких стандартов в управлении, социальной ответственности и экологической устойчивости, что способствует формированию нового качества жизни и устойчивого развития регионов Российской Федерации.
Sustainable development, social responsibility and ESG are becoming more in demand, both in the business community and at the state level. ESG factors (Environmental, Social, Governance) can play a significant role in assessing the effectiveness of the work of the heads of regions. To ensure systematic work in the direction of developing regional strategies, it is possible to use the accumulated experience of experts in the field of ESG. And ESG factors need to be implemented in an integrated approach to analyzing the activities of the heads of regions. Thus, the regions of Russia, having identified priority goals for themselves in the field of sustainable development, build their strategies taking into account environmental, social and managerial factors, and develop appropriate initiatives. All this is aimed at improving the quality of life and investment attractiveness of the region. This approach to regional development, based on a comprehensive assessment of the factors of sustainable development, allows us to form an ESG profile of the region, identify strengths and areas for improvement. The use of ESG criteria in assessing the activities of the heads of regions contributes to increasing transparency and openness of government, which, in turn, strengthens public confidence and stimulates active participation of citizens in the management of regions. This creates conditions for more efficient and balanced development, taking into account the interests of all stakeholders and ensuring the sustainable development of regions in accordance with national and global sustainability goals. In conclusion, the article emphasizes the need to integrate ESG approaches into the system of evaluating the activities of heads of regions as a tool to achieve higher standards in management, social responsibility and environmental sustainability, which contributes to the formation of a new quality of life and sustainable development of the regions of the Russian Federation.
